Transplanting Traditions Community Farm
Benefit Dinner at Lantern Table
For the second year, Lantern Table is honored to host Transplanting Tradition’s farmer/chef Khai Nyui Tow for an annual celebration of Karen Burmese food to support aspiring refugee farmers as they grow their farm businesses.
This four-course dinner will be prepared by farmer-chef Khai Nyui Tow and is a rare opportunity to taste the authentic cuisine of Burma. The dinner will feature the farmers' Asian vegetables, such as lemongrass, water gourd, roselle greens, and more, made into traditional Karen Burmese dishes.
100% of the evening proceeds will go to fund irrigation improvements so that Transplanting Traditions farmers have enough water for their crops for years to come.
