April 1 An Architectural & Historical Preservationist Tour of Campus: Given by Carolina parents, Langdon and Joe Oppermann, a husband and wife team of preservationists with a nationally recognized firm, Joseph K. Oppermann- Architect P.A. The firm is a leading advocate for the preservation, restoration, adaptive use, and new design for historic properties with projects across the country, which included the restoration of UNC’s own Old East and Old West.

April 22 Anecdotes about Carolina’s Campus: Stories Behind the Asphalt, Mortar, and Steel:Freddie Kiger is a master storyteller and writer. He is considered to be one of the foremost Civil War historians in the country. He is also an ESPN statistician, teacher, sports researcher, and producer. He teaches Civil War classes through the UNC General Alumni Association. His tour experience will entertain, enlighten, educate and expand your knowledge of Carolina personalities and places.
