Tailgate’Inn on the Front Porch at The Carolina Inn

The Carolina Inn, A Destination Hotel, kicks off the eighth season of its Tailgate’Inn on the Front Porch on Saturday, September 12. UNC fans will also get their first look at the new Crossroads Chapel Hill restaurant, its enhanced Front Porch area and many other dining amenities.

For each Tar Heel home football game, the Game Day Menu features Boiled Peanuts, Hot Wings, Pimento Cheese, Pork Rinds and Pork Sliders. The Inn offers plenty of comfortable seating under the shady oaks and magnolias on its popular front lawn along with Big Screen TVs and corn hole games. There is no cover charge.

 There will be a build your own Bloody Mary Bar with a variety of mixes available including the Inn’s signature extra spicy “InnCinerator” served on the famed Front Porch. In addition to full bar service, fans will enjoy specialty drinks like Midnight Moon Apple Moonshine and Ginger Ale, Midnight Moon Blueberry or Raspberry Moonshine and Lemonade, Catdaddy Spiced Moonshine and Root Beer, and MidnightMoon Strawberry Moonshine and Sweet Tea. 

The Bloody Mary Bar is available from 9 am to Noon for every home football game kicking off before mid-afternoon with regular bar service beginning three hours before kickoff.

 In addition to the September 12 home opener at Kenan Stadium against North Carolina Central, there are UNC home games on September 19 (Illinois), September 26 (Delaware), October 17 (Wake Forest), October 24 (Virginia), November 7 (Duke) and November 14 (Miami).

UNC Basketball: Late Night With Roy

Friday, October 3 at 7:30 pm: Late Night With Roy Williams, the annual kickoff to basketball season at the University of North Carolina, will have the theme of "A Night With the Stars."  Former Tar Heel guard Bobby Frasor, a senior on the 2009 NCAA championship team, will host the evening's festivities. Men's basketball content will include video skits, dances and contests.  The UNC women's basketball team also will appear with player introductions, dances and scrimmage. 

Doors will open at 6:30 pm and admission is free with general admission seating. www.goheels.com
