Have a drink with friends, join local artist Nancy Busch for a discussion of her work, enjoy music from DJ Gooberghan, and of course - take in the art! Busch is a Chapel Hill based artist. She will present and discuss 'I've Changed but I'm the Same', a forty-five minute docu/experimental video revealing the deconstruction of an artist's body of work while telling the story of its creation. The Museum's open hours are now 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Thursday; 1:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday.  As always, admission to the Museum will remain free, with donations encouraged. Jet Flyover of Chapel Hill and Kenan StadiumF/A 18 - Flyover
Just prior to kickoff, four Marine F/A-18 Hornet jets will fly over Kenan Stadium.  The F/A-18s are part of the VMFA-122 squadron known as the 'Werewolves', and are based out of the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina.  One of the pilots is UNC alumnus Captain Benjamin Apple, class of 2003. Practice runs will be made on Friday between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.  Bad weather or aircraft schedule changes could affect the flight plans for Friday and Saturday.

A Time For Singing - The Best of Broadway!

Richard Wall, Chapel Hill-based musical director, is pleased to present A Time for Singing - featuring some of the Triangle's finest singers at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Selections will span the best of Broadway from the 1920's through the 1980s.This event is FREE and open to the public with donations accepted.  All proceeds will benefit the churches Habitat for Humanity project and Global Vaccines, a local nonprofit creating new, low-cost vaccines for poor countries. Join the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership in kicking off the holiday season by celebrating the lighting of the 22' tall Community Tree in the Memorial Garden of University Baptist Church. Enjoy the sounds of the church choir and handbell choir! Don't forget your camera - children can meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and have their pictures taken for free! The community tree will stay up through the holiday season. University Baptist Church is located at 100 S. Columbia; at the corner of Columbia Street and Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill. FREE Saturday Parking This Holiday Season! 
Parking is always FREE on Sundays in Downtown Chapel Hill, but this holiday season parking will be FREE on Saturdays as well! The Town of Chapel Hill will be offering downtown patrons and visitors FREE parking on Saturdays in December at all municipal lots, the Wallace parking deck, and at on-street meters. At 5:00 PM on Saturdays, the Wallace Deck and Rosemary/Columbia Lot will begin charging at their normal rate.
West End Valet Parking is FREE! West End Logo
Spend the evening on the West End and take advantage of FREE Valet Parking six nights a week! Monday through Saturday - 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Courtesy Valet Parking is provided to patrons of participating businesses with a validated parking receipt. Downtown visitors enjoying other establishments can also use the valet service for a $5.00 charge. Drop cars off at the Valet Parking stand located in front of the UNC Information Technology building (440 West Franklin Street), near the West End Wine Bar.
