The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership and the Town of Chapel Hill present Locally Grown - a nine week series of Live Concerts and Outdoor Movies featuring local entertainers and family friendly activities in Downtown Chapel Hill.
Presented every Thursday on the Wallace Plaza, an urban park atop the Wallace Parking Deck at 150 East Rosemary Street, our mission is to promote the downtown community by encouraging people and families to come downtown and shop, eat and be local patrons for businesses throughout the downtown district.

Free Outdoor Movies and Kid Friendly Entertainment!
Our Movies series has a family friendly theme, and all movies begin on the rooftop at sundown (8:30pm) on our huge 12' x 7' inflatable movie screen.
~ Educational music and dance performances will open before each movie night at 7pm.
~Movie nights also feature free popcorn, children's activities such as face painting and crafts with Kidzu Children's Museum, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and a misting tent.

This exhibit traces the development of the Rogers-Eubanks area from the 1700s to today. Prison Books Collective at Internationalist!

The Internationalist sponsors a program that sends free books and literature to people incarcerated in Mississippi and Alabama.  Book-wrapping takes place every Sunday from 1-4pm at 218 N. Franklin Street Guided Walking Tour!

Take a guided tour of historical Franklin Street as part of the series of  historical walking tours of Chapel Hill entitled, 'Walk This Way! Fact and Folklore Tours of Chapel Hill.'

'A Walk Down Franklin Street,' will be leave from the Horace Williams House every Wednesday and Sunday at 2 pm. Tours are rain or shine.   Each tour lasts just over an hour and costs only $5.

Spend the evening on the West End and take advantage of FREE Valet Parking six nights a week! Monday through Saturday - 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Courtesy Valet Parking is provided to patrons of participating businesses with a validated parking receipt. Downtown visitors enjoying other establishments can also use the valet service for a $5.00 charge. Drop cars off at the Valet Parking stand located in front of the UNC Information Technology building (440 West Franklin Street), near the West End Wine Bar.
