A Night of Art and Live Music at The Artery
Artery Exhibit
The UNC student-run Artery will host Caroline Robinson and Abbey Herrmann, It Is Rain In My Face, and other live music on Friday, March 26 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. There will be a $3 cover to support UNC's Students of the World and the water crisis in
Tanzania. The exhibit at the Artery will be up into April, and photos are for sale--and
reasonably priced, if you're looking for some student art

Family Fun Tour at Ackland 
From Felrath Hines' luminous explorations of shape and color to Do-Ho Suh's sculpture
Floor (made for viewers to walk upon), the Ackland is filled with art that will
fascinate and inspire even the youngest visitor. Explore these works and more with a
child you care about on Sunday, March 28 at 1:15 PM. These FREE interactive gallery
tours are led by Ackland educators and are designed for six- to twelve-year-olds and
their families. Family Fun Tours are the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with
your children.

Benefit at Jack Sprat Cafe for House Fire Victims  Church Street House Fire
On March 1st, a Church Street house burned down in an accidental fire. Fortunately the four UNC students who lived there are fine -- but they lost everything they owned in the fire. On Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 PM, Jack Sprat Cafe will host a benefit show with ALL PROCEEDS going to the students. The show will cost $3 for those 21 and over; $5 for those under 21. Jack Sprat Cafe is located at 161 East Franklin Street. Celebrate NanoDays at Morehead Planetarium
Join educators and UNC scientists to learn about nanoscience, the study of really tiny things like molecules and atoms on Saturday, March 27 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Morehead's NanoDays will feature current nanoscience research and technology, particularly as it relates to medicine and human health. Preservation Society of Chapel Hill's Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Easter EggsHeld on the grounds of the Horace Williams House on Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 AM, this hunt is great for children under the age of 9 years old
. Children
should bring a basket for egg gathering. Search for 1,000 eggs with candy; ten eggs
contain special prizes. Also enjoy games and contests for children, including spelling games, egg races and
'bowling for bunnies.' Bertha Bunny will make a visit.

The Crunleton Bar Lecture Series
The Crunkleton Bar hosts "The Social History of the Martini with Dale DeGroff" on Wednesday, April 7 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Dale DeGroff single handedly created the pre-prohibition renaissance that has become so popular in America, Europe, and Asia.  While enjoying various martini concoctions and canape pairings, master mixologist,  DeGroff, will lead attendees through the evolution of the Martini.  Guests will also receive a copy of Dale's newest book, "The Essential Cocktail".
