Moving Midway chronicles the relocation of Raleigh's historic Midway Plantation in an effort to escape the city's encroaching sprawl. The film examines the history and family heritage of Midway which stood on the same soil since 1848. Made by Godfrey Cheshire, a film critic, journalist, and native of NC; Midway is his family's ancestral home.
