Kidzu will also have a fun instrument station where you can try out instruments staff has created from reused items.  Perhaps a little jam session on the Plaza will break out if we're lucky! Seeing in Black and White: Artist Salon at FRANK  FRANK - Black & White Exhibit
On Thursday, August 11 from 6PM to 8PM FRANK hosts "Seeing in Black and White " with FRANK artist Barbara Tyroler and guest photographers Bill McAllister and Sam Wang. Donate to Backpack Buddies, Get a Cookie! Panera cookie

On Friday, August 12 Panera Bread, located at 213 West Franklin Street, is partnering with WRAL-FM and the Interfaith Food Shuttle to raise money for Backpack Buddies. Anyone who donates at least $2 will receive a free cookie! The BackPack Buddies Program provides children from food-insecure homes with weekend meals during the school year. 

  

Opening Reception for Chapel Hill Underground Art Show Mark Mothersbaugh Art

On Friday, August 12 at 7PM, Chapel Hill Underground hosts an opening reception for an exhibition of Mark Mothersbaugh's visual art including his limited edition "Postcard Diaries" prints & art rugs! They'll be hosting a live video chat with Mark at the reception. Participants have the opportunity to uncover the challenges the original artists faced and experience the pleasure of sharing in the creative process.
