Music on the Front Porch Jonathan Byrd

Musicians Jonathan Byrd, Caitlin Cary and Matt Douglas bring The Craft of Song in the South to the Love House and Hutchins Forum TONIGHT- Thursday, September 15 from 5PM to 7PM. Kidzu Launches Plazapalooza Event Series Kidzu Logo

Join Kidzu Children's Museum throughout the month of September for this series of free programs including storytimes, crafts, and lots of fun family activities and games. You'll want to come out each week as Kidzu mixes things up by adding a new active game each week; bowling, mini golf, scooter mazes and so much more. Programs will take place Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays throughout the month. This is an outdoor series so please dress for the weather and pack a water bottle to keep you cool. Consider stopping to get lunch from a downtown restaurant and enjoying an outdoor picnic atop the Wallace Plaza. Priceless GEM Tour Series at UNC Visitors' Center Cropped Old Well Azaleas

UNC Visitors' Center launches a series of new distinctive walking tours on unique topics of interest led by esteemed University experts starting on Friday, September 16 at 3PM with an architectural tour of campus led by UNC historic preservationist, Wendy Hillis.  Tours begin at UNC Visitors' Center, located inside Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. Happening EVERY FRIDAY at 3PM, tours are FREE and open to the public with a range of information and perspectives - from archeology to the African-American experience to today's sustainability issues. Carolina Football Home Game - Go Heels! Marching Tar Heels

The third home football game in a row - we are some lucky Carolina fans! Carolina takes on the University of Virginia on Saturday, September 17 at 3:30PM. Football game days bring excitement and activity to downtown that everyone enjoys- even if you don't have tickets to the game! In Tar Heel Town everyone in the family will enjoy the Old Well Walk, the Bell Tower Climb, face painting, meeting Rameses, bounce houses, food, and more.
