Promotional Opportunity for Downtown Businesses & Orgs

The North Carolina Science Festival (NCSF) is a multi-day celebration showcasing science and technology. The Festival highlights the educational, cultural and financial impact of science in our state.
The 2012 NCSF spans two weeks, April 13-29, 2012, and features science events across the state. It was founded by Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in 2010 and was the first statewide science festival in the United States. It kicks off the week with a Science Expo on Saturday, April 14 on UNC's campus that last year drew 8,000 people.
Host An Event:
The festival invites downtown businesses and organizations to become part of the fun. They are seeking proposals for businesses to host an event at any point during that two weeks. Events can come in an array of formats and sizes. The events should celebrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Events should be fun and engaging for audiences, hands-on if possible, and offer the opportunity for the audience to ask questions. You create the event to suit your business! To host an event - sign up online: CLICK HERE.
The Festival Organizers Will:

--Promote your event on the Festival website.

--Promote events in the Festival's printed program guide.
--Provide hosts with NCSF branding tools, such as event signage, advertising templates and the NCSF logo for use with print and electronic marketing efforts.
--Create a unique URL for hosts to use to promote events within their community.
