Three Ways To Make Parking Easy for Your Customers

www.franklinstreetparking.com
Download this icon and use it on your website. Link to www.franklinstreetparking.com.
1) Use this parking icon on your website and Facebook page, and link it to: www.franklinstreetparking.com.
It's the only comprehensive website that includes ALL parking options and information for downtown. Don't link to an outdated site; it only increases frustration for your customers.

2) Know all the parking options downtown!
Our interactive Downtown Parking Guide lists all parking options - including public lots, private lots, valet, free night parking, and our Downtown Chapel Hill Mobile APP

3) Be a positive voice for downtown!
Your customers will follow your lead; tell them about some of the downtown parking improvements in the past few years, such as:
-Bright blue wayfinding signs on every public parking lot and crossroads.
-All new parking meters that take credit cards.
-FREE night parking lots created by CHDP through a public/private partnership- like this one!
-FREE parking on Sundays and 8 major holidays.
-Valet parking for all downtown customers, complimentary for customers at 17 businesses.

Below are a few ways you can actively market your business through us for FREE! Contact Meg at 919-967-9440 or meg@downtownchapelhill.com for more information on any of these opportunities.
  • Submit to the weekly "What to Do & See Downtown This Week!" email. All downtown organizations and businesses can submit a special or on-going event, food & drink specials, sales, meetings, important business news, lectures or classes, and music/entertainment events. All submissions are also entered on to our downtown events calendar, promoted via the Downtown Partnership's Facebook page and Twitter.
  • Be our guest...blogger! Write a blog entry about your business or upcoming special event.
  • Have one of our photographers attend your event to take photos that will be used for promotions.

Help Shape The Future of Downtown
Chapel Hill 2020 is the community-wide effort to create a new comprehensive plan. This process is open to all residents - and others who live, work, play, study and invest in Chapel Hill.   Every stakeholder can participate, and we need you - our downtown community - to chime in. This is a great opportunity to guide the direction of downtown Chapel Hill's future.
