ReCYCLEry Workshop

The ReCYCLEry is available every Sunday from 10AM to 2PM for open workshop hours. These hours are lightly paced and staffed by mechanics who will lead you in learning about your bike in an informal session. Members are welcome to bring their bike or work towards earning one of their own. Located on the backside of 108 North Graham Street, The ReCYCLEry is a nonprofit that accepts donated bicycles and teaches bicycle repair and maintenance skills to community members while they earn their own bikes. Loving Then and Now
The Center for the Study of the American South is hosting a screening of The Loving Story TODAY -Thursday, March 1 at 7PM at Varsity Theatre. On Friday, March 2 starting at 9:30AM the Center will host a symposium that will bring scholars together to discuss the film from historical, legal, and cultural perspectives.  The Loving Story tells the story of Richard and Mildred Loving and examines the drama, the history, and the current state of interracial marriage and tolerance in the United States.
