Sacrificial Poets
: has opened their office at 179 East Franklin Street, in Street Scene Teen Center. Sacrificial Poets is North Carolina's premier youth poetry organization, and the first internationally competing youth performance poetry team in the state. Their mission is to inspire, foster, and promote artistic expression, personal growth, and social justice for youth in our collective communities through the use of the spoken and written word.
The Clothes Hound: Open at 145 East Franklin Street, The Clothes Hound offers women fashions at reasonable prices, such as Ryu, C. Luce, Gentle Fawn, Jamie Kreitman, Big Buddha, French Connection, and Free People. Offering One-stop shopping for dresses, tops, shoes, jewelry, and accessories.
TRU Deli + Wine: Located at 114 Henderson Street, TRU Deli + Wine roasts its own turkey, roast beef and bacon, and offers a build-your-own-sandwich menu. Deli by day, wine bar by night - the wine bar is open Thursday through Saturday and the restaurant can be reserved for private events.
