Kidzu Children's Museum will stay open until 7:00 pm TONIGHT to celebrate with the community and do fun crafts and activities in the museum. Enjoy reduced Kidzu admission from 4:00-7:00 pm.
Thirsty Thursday at B&J

On Saturday, October 19 at 8:00 pm solo pianist Alex Thompson performs. And every Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm Jim Crisp Trio performs jazz. 
Artists Talk at PlayMakers
Wednesday, October 23 at 6:30 pm you're invited to take a first look at the incredible design and vision for PlayMakers upcoming rotating repertory of two plays wrestling with the themes of love, loss and redemption: Shakespeare's final masterpiece, The Tempest, and Mary Zimmerman's contemporary examination of Ovid's Metamorphoses.

Open at noon today Fiztgerald's Irish Pub has drink and food specials all day, live music from Skinny Bag of Sugar starting at 4 pm, and the big game on 29 TVs with game sound!

It's time to celebrate Carolina-style -TODAY from 4 to 7 pm -with the best brews and spirits found right here in Tarheel country. Iphigenia - A Rave Fable at Nightlight
Performances October 17-19 & 24-26 at 8:00 pm at Nightlight Club. $10 members/ $12 non-members (includes membership). Hurling one of greek tragedy's most compelling sagas into a sleek netherworld of sex, drugs and trance music. All performances followed by an afterparty with djs, live electronic music, or bands. 
Star Families Show: Black Holes
Star Families program on Saturday, October 19 at 3:30, explores black holes and where to find them in the sky. Take a trip into space to discover where a supermassive black hole lies in our Milky Way galaxy. Star Families is for ages 7-12 accompanied by parents or caregivers. 
Franklin St Yoga Opens New Room
The yoga center's new room has been officially christened "The Tree House" and is located in the building next door, on the second floor. Offering FREE classes now until October 31 in the Tree House! 
Take Two Tour at Ackland Museum 
On Sunday, October 20 at 2:00 pm Ackland's Take Two Tours offer two perspectives on a topic related to The Sahmat Collective. UNC-CH faculty members join experts from the Museum's staff for conversational tours that explore the work of Sahmat in greater detail, adding insights from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. Free. 
Andras Schiff - Goldberg Variations
On Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 pm Grammy Award-winning pianist and conductor András Schiff will perform at Memorial Hall. He is one of the most renowned interpreters of Bach, Mozart, Schubert and Schumann.
