Drawing in the Galleries
Thursday, November 21 at 6 pm: Amanda Hughes (the Museum's Director of External Affairs) leads participants in this creative exploration of a particular object in the Ackland's collection. Bring paper and dry media (crayon, pencils, etc.). All levels are welcome. No registration is necessary.Free and open to the public. 
Supercollider at FRANK
Thursday, November 21, 6 pm: Supercollider's original songs combine catchy riffs with a rich and gritty sound, lending the Carrboro-based group their signature "gnarl-pop," 90s-inspired sound. Though normally an electrified trio, Supercollider will be performing as an acoustic duo at FRANK Gallery with Chris Reali (guitar, vocals) and Allison Portnow (bass, vocals).  

Blakemere Afternoon Tea  at La Residence features award winning sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream a well as English favorites like tasty finger sandwiches, scones and jam! Prices start at $13.00 for the Cream Tea and $22 for the full Afternoon Tea. 
French-English Storytime
Saturday, November 23, 4 pm: Join Kidzu Children's Museum for story time that includes fun educational activities! We will also provide a short craft that will be tied to the story and theme. Program geared to children ages 3 and up. No registration required. 
Ackland & Kidzu Family Day 
Sunday, November 24, 2 pm - 5 pm: Get inspired by the African Masks Exhibit at Ackland Art Museum and design and create your own mask inspired by the exhibit. Then join the staff of the Ackland for Story Time at 3pm and 4pm to hear stories from different African cultures. Kidzu will also be at the Ackland for a special African art project! Ackland event is free to the public. / 
Yoga to Music at Nightlight 
Monday, November 25 at 7 pm: Candlelit vinyasa yoga led by Lauren Ford with live music by Ryan Martin. All levels welcome. $5-10 suggested donation.
