Approximately 60% of our population is eligible to donate blood, and only 5% actually donate! Rex Blood Services needs to collect 100 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of local patients. On Wednesday, June 26 from 10AM to 2PM -Investors Title Company is looking to break their current record of 34 people who have donated blood; and saved lives at their bi-annual blood drive!  Sign up TODAY - and show your commitment to your community! Bicycle Chain Group Trail Ride
Whether this is your first Mountain Bike ride, or you want to increase your single track skills, come join the Chapel Hill Bicycle Chain group ride every Sunday at 5PM. Meet at the store, at 210 W. Franklin Street, do a quick tire check and then ride the Carolina North Forest trails for about an hour and a half. LED Lighting Open House at Ackland

TODAY- Thursday, June 20 from 6PM to 8PM Art at the Ackland Art Museum can now be seen in a new light: 400 energy-efficient LED bulbs now illuminate the art in all the Museum's galleries thanks to the generosity UNC-Chapel Hill's Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee (RESPC). Come celebrate this leadership step of the Ackland's and learn about the energy efficiency of LED lighting. See how the new lights enhance the appearance of the Museum's artworks while protecting them from UV and infrared damage.

Family Day at Ackland: "Fun in the Sun"
On Sunday, June 23 from 2PM to 5PM Beat the heat at the Ackland Art Museum!
