Starting at 8PM join us for kids games and activities on the Plaza. Come early for traditional percussive dance by Chapel Hill's own Cane Creek Cloggers. Bring the kids to learn more about the rich folk dancing heritage of North Carolina. We may have a surprise guest or two right before the movie!
Free popcorn for all while supplies last; and Ben & Jerry's will be selling delicious ice cream to keep you cool! Movie nights start with film shorts created by local award-winning filmmaker Nic Beery; of Beery Media and founder of the Carrboro Film Festival.
The movies start at sundown (approx. 9PM) so bring a chair or blanket, get dinner from a downtown restaurant and have a picnic dinner under the stars. Discount parking tokens for movie goers provided by Town of Chapel Hill's Parking Services.
The plaza is on top of the Wallace Parking Deck, car entrance off of Rosemary Street. For all downtown parking options visit www.parkonthehill.com. But why not bike-in to the movie? There's plenty of bike parking space...and it's free!
