Immerse yourself in the Arts at Chapel Hill's Festifall in downtown Chapel Hill on West Franklin Street.  Now in its 42nd year, this free annual festival is one of North Carolina’s longest running events.  See and purchase quality art from more than 80 area and regional artists showcased at the event.  Also enjoy music, dance, children's activities and more.

UNC vs Virginia Tech

Carolina takes on Virginia Tech this Saturday at Kenan Stadium! Football game days bring excitement and activity to downtown that everyone enjoys.Check out the official 2014 Carolina Football Fan Guide!  Buy tickets to the game. Enjoy dining on Franklin Street before or after the game. Stop by one of downtown's bustling UNC Fan Gear shops that sell all things UNC-themed! Take the Tar Heel Express downtown and to the game!

Late Night with Roy

Friday, October 3 at 7:30 pm

Late Night With Roy Williams, the annual kickoff to basketball season at the University of North Carolina, will have the theme of "A Night With the Stars."  Former Tar Heel guard Bobby Frasor, a senior on the 2009 NCAA championship team, will host the evening's festivities. Men's basketball content will include video skits, dances and contests.  The UNC women's basketball team also will appear with player introductions, dances and scrimmage. 

Doors will open at 6:30 pm and admission is free with general admission seating.

Fridays on the Front Porch

Friday, October 3 at 5-8 pm

The Inn offers live music, a picnic menu with beer, wine and drink specials, and plenty of comfortable seating under the shady oaks and magnolias on the Inn's front lawn. There's no cover charge or reservations for the event.   Fridays on the Front Porch features the music of some of North Carolina's best bands for 24 consecutive Fridays through early October.

Wynton Marsalis at Memorial Hall
