Press Release: "Walk Chapel Hill" Wayfinding Signage

October 2, 2014
For Immediate Release:

The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership and the Town of Chapel Hill are pleased to announce the addition of new pedestrian way finding signage to be installed throughout downtown Chapel Hill this fall.

In partnership with the Town of Chapel Hill, the Chapel Hill-Orange County Visitors Bureau, and UNC Chapel Hill, the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership designed wayfinding signage to help visitors and residents find arts and cultural destinations throughout downtown Chapel Hill, UNC Campus and Carrboro.

The signs will be placed in nine locations in downtown giving directional information on locations as well as average walking times to highlight downtown's walkability as well as its wide range of attractions.

Along with the way finding signs the Downtown Partnership has created a "Walk Chapel Hill" web page to highlight walkable downtown destinations at www.downtownchapelhill.com/walk
