Friday, February 14 from 6 pm to 9 pm: Enjoy a Valentine's Day date on the 2nd Friday ArtWalk! You and your love can experience the creative arts scene in our community, explore venues and businesses throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro, as well as socialize with other art lovers! Check out this month's participating venues. Many of the venues have live music, food, activities, and other art related entertainment.

Valentines Night at Ackland
Thursday, February 13 from 5 pm to 8 pm: Following the success of last year's creative and crafty Valentine's Day party, the Ackland Museum is bringing back an evening with a Make-Your-Own Valentines Station and "Love in the Galleries" scavenger hunt. Sweet treats, sweethearts, and surprises will abound. Take home a hand-crafted creation for that someone special!  
NC Comedy Arts Festival Events

Teen Science Cafe at Planetarium
Friday, February 14 at 5:30 pm: Dr. Mike Willis will show teens his team's fieldwork in the Russian Arctic where glaciers are accelerating in speed and sliding away. He'll also use demonstrations to explain his current theory on a scientific mystery happening on the Greenland Ice Sheet, where water is cascading into the ice in a way that no one has witnessed before. For young adults, ages 13-18, and it's free!

Love Under the Stars: Carolina Skies
Friday, February 14 at 7 pm and 8 pm: It's the most unique Valentine's tradition you'll ever experience- the special star show "Carolina Skies: Valentine Edition" explores the legends of love told by ancient cultures through constellations at Morehead Planetarium. These shows are appropriate for adults and older teens. Regular prices apply. 
Valentine's Throwback Prom at Zog's 
Friday, February 14 at 8 pm: Attention singles and couples, Zog's is throwing a Valentine's Prom for those of you who love V-Day, hate it, went to prom, got stood up for prom, love 80s and 90s music, and love wearing leisure suits and pink taffeta!
