10 am to 12 pm: Free Throw Competition
In tribute to the first Old Chicago restaurant opening in 1976, free pizza for a year will be awarded to the first 76 customers that line up at the new restaurant in advance of its 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.
The community is also invited to join Old Chicago in supporting Farmer Foodshare, a nonprofit group connecting hungry families with local farming communities, with a basketball free-throw event at 10 a.m. outside the restaurant. Old Chicago will donate $76 to Farmer Foodshare for each free throw that makes it in the basket, again in honor of its start in 1976.
3 pm - 5 pm: Pizza & Beer Pairing
With a new pairing every 15 minutes, guests will have a chance try Old Chicago’s wide beer and pizza offerings for just a $2 donation to Farmer Foodshare.
