On Saturday, April 26th, 6,000 runners will descend on Chapel Hill for the 7th Annual Tar Heel 10 Miler and 4 Mile Run celebrating Chapel Hill and UNC - iconic landmarks, azalea lined streets, historic neighborhoods, lovely downtown, awesome music and a Kenan Stadium finish!

Endurance Magazine invites you to welcome these runners into your businesses and be a part of RACE REWARDS.

The weekend kicks off that Friday with an Expo and Packet Pick-Up bringing runners and their cheerleaders into Chapel Hill to get their race bibs and meet race sponsors. We will encourage them dine and shop downtown all weekend.
There is no fee to participate, just an offer to the runners.  It's that easy!

How it works:
  • Offer a discount to runners on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 - they will be instructed to show their official race registration or bib to participate.
  • Endurance Magazine will send you a reminder email so you can have your staff ready to go.
  • The discount offer, business logo with a link to your website will be sent  directly to runners, as well as posted on the event website. (
  • They did this in Durham for their Bull City Race Fest and it was a huge success for participating businesses and runners loved the promotion.
Starting April 14th Endurance Magazine will begin promoting these RACE REWARDS and inviting the 6,000 runners, who bring along their cheerleaders, to enjoy our downtown!
