UNC grads at Davey Poplar
Congratulations UNC Class of 2014! Downtown Chapel Hill welcomes graduates and their families as they celebrate under Carolina blue skies of course! UNC's main commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 11 at 9:30 am at Kenan Stadium. No tickets are needed and the public is welcome to attend. Art Scavenger Hunt & Free Ice Cream
Friday, May 9 from 6 pm to 9pm: All are welcome to join Chapel Hill Council Member Sally Greene and the youth of the Street Scene Teen Center  in a scavenger hunt seeking out clues to unlock the visual treats of downtown Chapel Hill's Franklin Street. Meet at 104 West Franklin Street (next to Ben & Jerry's), and artist Carter Hubbard will send you on your way to find art clues downtown. To sweeten the deal, Ben & Jerry's will be giving away a single cone scoop of ice cream to the first 40 finishers of the scavenger hunt.
