Starting TODAY - Thursday, August 21 - Sutton's grill will now be open until 9 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Now you can eat breakfast, lunch, afternoon milkshake break, and dinner all at Sutton's Drug Store! Because everyone takes an afternoon milkshake break, right?

Poster Sale Open to All!
Everyday until August 29 from 10am to 5pm, the annual poster sale is taking place in the Street Scene Teen Center, under the Post Office, at 179 East Franklin Street. The sale features 1000's of art, photography, and music posters - great for the dorm room, class room or living room! A portion of the sales support the Street Scene Teen Center in providing a safe environment and arts programming for teens after-school and on the weekends.
UNC Soccer This Week!

Live Music at R&R Grill

Southern Folklife Collection Festival
August 21-23: The Southern Folklife Collection at UNC commemorates one of the nation's foremost archives of Southern vernacular music, art and culture with a festival that will include musical performances, lectures and readings. The festivities will culminate on Saturday, August 23 with a headline concert by Tift Merritt and Country Music Hall of Famer Merle Haggard at Memorial Hall. Rebirth Brass Band & Dumpstaphunk

Seasonal Menu at Crook's Corner
Southern Living Magazine named Crook's Corner as one of the 100 Best Restaurants in the South! And just this week Crook's Corner announced a new seasonal menu featuring Homemade Pasta served with tomatoes and seasoned with local herbs; Summer Gumbo with a light roux and okra and other summer vegetables, sweetened with sidemeat; Scallops and Hominy with a mild kick of Shishito Peppers; Grilled Hanger Steak, and more. 
Dolly Wilde's Picture Show
Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22 at 8 pm: UNC's the process series invites you to experience Dolly Wilde's Picture Show. Combining live performance, multimedia, and the photographic series Oscaria/Oscar (1994), by SPIR Conceptual Photography (María DeGuzmán and Jill Casid), Dolly Wilde's Picture Show tells the story of Oscar Wilde's supposedly identical niece, one of the First World War's first female "motor-drivers." Fridays on the Front Porch at the Inn
Every Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm: The Carolina Inn hosts the popular end-of-the-work week celebration. Offering live music, a picnic menu with beer, wine and drink specials, and plenty of comfortable seating under the shady oaks and magnolias on the Inn's front lawn.
