Walk This Way! Tour
Sunday, May 31 at 2 pm: Explore the Old Chapel Hill Cemetery on UNC's campus. Starts under the Gazebo at the cemetery. All walking tours are $5 per person and last approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Reservations are not required.

The Bookshop is having a sale on craft books! Just in time for summer projects too. Find books on quilting, scrapbooking, origami, jewelry and doll making, knitting, felting, embroidery, all types of paper crafts and more. Learn a new craft or perfect an old one. Casino Night Benefit
Thursday, June 4 from 7 pm to 10 pm: The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce 2015
Leadership Class is hosting a casino night benefiting TABLE at The Franklin Hotel. The Casino Night event includes casino games such as blackjack and roulette, a silent auction and a raffle as well as live entertainment and food. Tickets to the event are $30.
Business Excellence Awards Tonight!
Tonight - Thursday, May 28 
from 6:30 pm to 9 pm: At the 2015 Business Excellence Awards or the BEAs, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce will award over a dozen exceptional businesses and leaders for their achievements.

Book Launch at LIGHT Art+Design
Saturday, May 30 at 4 pm: Join Light Art + Design for a book launch celebrating Tama Hochbaum's book Silver Screen. With a talk and demonstration by the author.
LIGHT Art+Design promotes contemporary fine artists, designers, and craftspeople and innovative, sustainable design.

St. Baldrick's Fundraiser at The Crunkleton
Saturday, May 30 from 12:30 pm to 3 pm: Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join 13 people as they shave their head's to raise money for The St. Baldrick's Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. You can donate now online!

The Pool is OPEN - Come On In!
The A. D. Clark Pool at the Hargraves Community Center, 216 N. Roberson St., is now open for the summer season. The free outdoor swimming pool, operated by the Town of
Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department, is available for lap swimming and open swim time now through Labor Day. The 25 meter pool offers a zero-depth entry pool, locker rooms, showers and family changing area. There is a wading pool for pre-school aged children and toddlers.

Red Cross Blood Drive at Dean Dome on Tuesday, June 2 from 7 am to 6 pm: UNC-Chapel Hill will host this blood drive with a goal of collecting 900 pints of blood. All are invited to donate. Participants may receive various prizes and a Carolina Blood Drive T-shirt courtesy of the American Red Cross. For details and to register to donate blood, visit or call
