BACH Meeting Tonight
Thursday, September 24 at 6:30 pm: Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill (BACH) invites all who want to get involved with cycling events, advocacy, and issues. The meeting is held at Fitzgerald's Irish Pub. The fall is getting busy with bike events. Come and see what BACH is planning, and offer your suggestions on what you would like BACH to work on. 
Shake, shake that booty...on Friday, September 25 from 6 pm to 9 pm on the plaza at 140 West Franklin Street. Creating live band, mash-ups of your favorite dance tunes is what Bless Your Heart brings to the plaza. Prepare to dance the night 
away! All Live & Local events take place on the plaza at 140 West Franklin Street and are free and open to all. 
Fridays on the Front Porch at Carolina Inn
Every Friday at 5 pm: Join the Carolina Inn for the weekly Fridays on the Front Porch now until October. Relax on the shady front porch while enjoying live music and delicious fare. Enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere; bring a chair or a picnic blanket! No cover charge or reservations required. 
Friends and Family Day
Sunday, September 27 from 1 pm to 5 pm: On the fourth Sunday of the month, spend an interactive, art-filled day with family and friends at the Ackland Art Museum. FREE. Conduct an "Art Interview" with a friend or family member. Play fun art games like Ackland Art Bingo, or work together to solve "Art in a Jar" puzzles. Make your own version of the Ackland's "Artwork of the Month". Tweens, teens, and adults will especially enjoy taking a guided tour at 2 PM.

September 16-October 4; Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar: One dangerous dinner party. An upwardly mobile Pakistani-American lawyer has achieved success while distancing himself from his Muslim heritage. Chapel Hill-Themed Art at FRANK

FRANK Gallery is showing ten brand new Chapel Hill-themed works by the very popular local artist Elaine O'Neil. Each piece is a special celebration of Chapel Hill, the perfect artwork for a local office, home, or hanging on the wall of any UNC fan! Star Families Show: Eclipses
Saturday, September 27 at 4:30 pm: Explore astronomy themes as a family! Learn about Greek myths, legends, and the constellations in the sky. The Star Families series is designed for children (ages 7-12) accompanied by their families.
