ArtWalk with your love this month! Together experience the creative arts scene in our community, explore venues in downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and socialize with other art lovers. Venues feature live music, food, activities, and other art related entertainment. 

The 2nd Friday ArtWalk features locally-crafted art in all mediums; handmade jewelry, scarves, paper goods, ceramics, fine art, and more!  

The NC Crafts Gallery features a wide selection of pottery and gifts handcrafted exclusively by North Carolina artists and craftsmen. The perfect local shop to find a gift for your love for Valentine's Day!

SHIMMER: The Art of Light: Friday, February 12 from 6 pm to 11 pm. SHIMMER is a free outdoor event that will light up downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro with illuminated art installations and projection. Works by artists from 8 different states at 20 different locations will light up our downtown.  
Artist & Venue Matchmaking III
Are you an artist looking for places to perform at or exhibit your art?  Is your business looking for dynamic, local art to display or experience? We want to make a match! Join us for Artist & Venue Matchmaking III on Friday, February 19 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at The ArtsCenter, 300-G East Main Street in Carrboro. 
  • Venues may include businesses, restaurants, offices, galleries, and special events from all over the Triangle.
  • Artists may include those from the visual arts such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, design, crafts, and film making; as well as writers, dancers, and musicians. 
Artists should bring 20 copies of promotional materials or contact information to leave with the venues.  Light refreshments will be served. Venues must RSVP at
