Fridays on the Front Porch at Carolina Inn

The Carolina Inn hosts this popular end-of-the-work week celebration with live music, food trucks, and plenty of comfortable seating under the shady oaks and magnolias on the Inn's front lawn. Free. 

Cookbook Sale 

Through August, cookbooks are on sale at The Bookshop at 400 W. Franklin St. International and regional cooking, southern and general cooking, Junior League community cookbooks--priced from $1.00 to $3.00. Books will be added to the sale as space allows. It's never too hot to cook. 

West End Film Series

Open Mic at the Cave

The Cave Open Mic encourages not only songwriters with original songs, but all original content - comedy, poetry, spoken word, etc. Any and all are welcome. FREE. The Cave is a safe space and encourages you to come as you are and share your talents and/or support those who choose to do so. 

Downtown Pop Up Market Returns 

Beginning August 25 and running through October 27, the Downtown Pop Up Market will once again be set up on the plaza at the intersection of Church Street and Franklin Street (140 W. Franklin Plaza). The market will be open on  Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 pm. With 15+ vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods & pastries, crafts, beer, cheese, coffee, and beauty care products. Enjoy FREE parking vouchers when you park in the 140 West Parking Deck. Don't have cash? Use your debit card and get Market Tokens to shop. /

Star Families Show

The Beautiful Beast

Paperhand Puppet Intervention's 17th annual summer show runs August 5 - September 5 in the Forest Theatre.
