Movies Under the Stars Summer Series Kicks-Off

Let the stars be your guide all summer long!  

The Town of Chapel Hill and Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership announce the FREE Movies Under the Stars summer series held outdoors on top of the Wallace Parking Deck at 150 E. Rosemary St. Movie-goers of all ages will enjoy free popcorn and fun activities.

NEW THIS YEAR: We've partnered with UNC Athletics for a special movie showing at UNC's Boshamer Baseball Stadium! Watch Field of Dreams at 5:30 p.m on Saturday, May 20,  after the last baseball game of the season vs. Duke.  The baseball game starts at 2 p.m. and the movie will begin 30 minutes after the end of the game, approximately 5:30 p.m. Concessions stands will be open and kids will enjoy games & activites! 

The sports-themed series continues through Aug. 17 on different Thursday evenings each month at the Wallace Parking Deck, 150 E. Rosemary St.

July 13 – Kicking & Screaming
July 27 – CARS 
Aug. 10 – Space Jam 
Aug. 17 – Remember the Titans


All events are free. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets for seating at the movies on the Wallace Plaza.
