Take a break from your day and meet your other half at the Ackland to explore the world of yoga in the beautiful setting of the museum! The hour-long session offered by registered yoga teacher Joanne Marshall will provide an opportunity to practice a series of gentle yoga poses inspired by the art in the gallery.
Thursday, July 20th, 7:30-9:30 PM
Bring your own bikes or call Back Alley to rent one and cruise around town with folks at Beer Study as the sun sets and our beautiful town turns from a hot summer day to a cool summer night. The ride ends at Beer Study, so feel free to enjoy a drink or two to cool off afterwards!
Sunday, July 16th, 3-7 PM
Party with WCHL as they thank Ron Stutts, their three-time winner of the NCAB Radio Personality of the Year Award, for 40 years of dedicated service to their station and community. Grab a ticket and come dance the day away to live music by Liquid Pleasure! Parking is free.

Name a more iconic duo for the summer than cold ice cream and good music, I'll wait. Bring your kids and help Ben & Jerry's kick off their summer music series by kicking back and listening to Nitrogen Tone's groovy music and enjoying sweet treats from one of your favorite Franklin Street spots.
It's your last chance to get your summer reading on and grab a few great books for you and the kids at a discount! The Bookshop is offering 70% off any purchase of $20 or more and bookcases for $30 until their official close on the 15th. The 16th and 17th are free book days, where from 10 AM to 7 PM all remaining books and bookcases in the store will be free — so long as you have your own containers and transportation!
