What to Do and See Downtown This Week!

2nd Friday ArtWalk at Ackland Art Museum

This 2nd Friday ArtWalk, the Ackland features a live art gameshow with Ackland’s exhibition "Versus: Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2018."

The four MFA show curators (Lauren Turner, Jeff Bell, Kelly McChesney, and Chris Vitiello) will build miniature museum installations in a Chopped-style art competition using only materials found in their mystery boxes. The event will be emceed by Warren Hicks, producer of the Triangle’s favorite art podcast Don't You Lie To Me - podcast.

Also at the Ackland for the 2nd Friday ArtWalk, Imbibe's SnoBall Bike will pop up on the Ackland’s front terrace with icy treats for sale.
