Concert Night Food Venders:
Locally Grown Features Food and Drink from various downtown businesses available on site. But don't forget to spend time downtown and check out all the other wonderful businesses Downtown Chapel Hill has to offer!
CALL FOR DOWNTOWN RESTAURANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN LOCALLY GROWN:
We are now accepting applications from downtown restaurants/food establishments to sell food at the three concerts (Thursdays,: June 23, July 28 & Aug 25). The food must be prepared in an Orange County Health Department approved kitchen and brought to the site fully packaged and ready to sell.
The fee to participate is $150 in gift certificates ($10 increments) to your restaurant! The gift certificates will be used as promotional items and contest give-aways at the LOCALLY GROWN events as well as meals for performing bands. In 2010, the concerts brought an average of over 1000 people to downtown each night.
With application fee you are provided:
-A 10' x 10' space with EZ-up Tent , 1- 5ft table, and 2 chairs
-Public hand washing units will be provided on-site.
-1 Custom sandwich board sign in mutually agreed location (full color, provided by the Town)
-Minimum of (2) :15 second prerecorded stage announcements at each of the (3) concert nights
-(1) :30 second prerecorded video advertisement prior to each of the (6) outdoor movie screenings
-Listing as official participating food vendor on concert page at www.locally-grown.com
-Inclusion as official food vendor in e-marketing newsletter to reach more than 4000 contacts
-Inclusion in Facebook Social Media campaign (both Town of Chapel Hill and Downtown Partnership)
