CORRECTION: Promotional Opportunity: NIGHT LIGHTS, a Family-Friendly New Year's Eve in Downtown Chapel Hill!
Promotional Opportunity: NIGHT LIGHTS

NIGHT LIGHTS will be held on Wednesday, December 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. NIGHT LIGHTS offers family-friendly activities, performances, interactive games, refreshments, and a kids' countdown under the stars in the fulldome theater to ring in the New Year.

Last year was the first NIGHT LIGHTS; created in response to the lack of family-friendly events on New Year's Eve in the area. The Downtown Partnership partnered with Morehead Planetarium, Kidzu Children's Museum, and smArts creative program & events.

With initial plans of  around 200 attendees, the event brought over 800 children and parents out to celebrate. Franklin Street was filled with families both before and after the event, eating, shopping, and finally enjoying the chance to celebrate a holiday that is traditionally not one that includes families.

We are now seeking sponsors for NIGHT LIGHTS 2014 and 2015.
