Save the Date: Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership Annual Meeting 

The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership's Annual Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:30 pm at The Carolina Inn. Join staff and board members for a networking event to learn more about what the Downtown Partnership has accomplished this past year, and the services and resources we offer to our downtown community. Celebrate with other champions of our downtown as our annual meeting is open to all in the community. 

 

Focus Group for Merchants on High-Risk Drinking

Thursday, February 20 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at Launch Venture Lab, 321 W.Rosemary Street: Please join us for a focus group of downtown merchants to discuss the impacts your business feels, both positively and negatively, from alcohol use. This is an opportunity to share your ideas, challenges, and help us identify any needed solutions. Artist & Venue Matchmaking

Is your business or special event looking for dynamic, local art to display? Are you looking for musicians, dancers, or performers for your business? We want to make a match! Join us for an Artist & Venue Matchmaking event on Friday, February 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at The ArtsCenter, 300-G East Main Street in Carrboro. Venues may include Chapel Hill and Carrboro businesses, restaurants, galleries, and special events. Artists may include those from the visual arts such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, design, crafts, and film making; as well as writers, dancers, and musicians. This event is free. FREE B.A.R.S. Training - Be a Responsible Server

Thursday, February 27; 7 pm to 9 pm at 179 E. Franklin Street (Courthouse/Post Office): BARS - Be a Responsible Server Training is offered FREE by the Chapel Hill Police Department for all businesses that serve or sell alcohol to educate employees on alcohol laws, regulations, and responsible business operations.
