Let's Keep Delta Air Lines Crew Downtown!

Delta Air Lines Incentives Program
Downtown Chapel Hill is not the first place that comes to mind as a major hub of airline activity, but every day of the year there are between 30-50 Delta Air Lines pilots and flight attendants on Franklin Street. Crew members spend their out-of-air time shopping in our retail stores, dining in our restaurants, and enjoying our bars.

The Carolina Inn is the reason for this tremendous added economic impact on your business!

For the last two years  The Carolina Inn has had a contract with Delta Air Lines as their extended layover location with crew members staying 1-3 nights. Delta chose the Inn and downtown Chapel Hill due to its close walking proximity to amenities; they do not want to catch a shuttle bus to get to activities.

The Inn's contract with Delta is set to end
in June 2016. Two years ago, there were not as many locations in the Triangle as potential options. However, with vast hotel growth in Durham and Raleigh, Delta may potentially take their business elsewhere.

We want to keep them here!

How Your Business Can Benefit:
The Carolina Inn is now seeking downtown businesses who will offer a 10% or more discount to Delta staff, upon showing their badge while shopping and dining at your business. The Carolina Inn will use this incentives program to show Delta that we want to keep their crews, and their business, here in downtown Chapel Hill.
