Tar Heel 10 Miler Info



 
From the Town of Chapel Hill, 4/20/16: 

The Town of Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina have worked with Endurance Magazine to again prepare for the 2016 Tar Heel 10 Miler event, which will be held this Saturday, April 23rd.  The event will draw approximately 7000 runners and there will be many road closures and traffic diversions and detours along the course.  

RACE START TIMES:
7:15 AM - 4 Mile Run
7:45 AM - 10 Miler

The Chapel Hill Police Department and UNC's Department of Public Safety will have officers stationed at various intersections to guide motorists and ensure public safety. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  Detailed Traffic Info - CLICK HERE.
